Happy Mother’s Day from Academy Ford!

Think of all the work that Moms do in raising their children. They need to be celebrated, especially the SuperMoms! President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed May 9, 1914, the first Mother’s Day. He asked Americans on that day to give a public “thank you” to their mothers and all mothers.

So, today we wanted to take a moment to thank our Academy Ford family mothers for all that they do in raising today’s youth.  We want to celebrate all mothers!  In honor of Mother’s Day, we’d like to share with you some of the responses that Ford received from asking mothers what they love about their Ford and how their lives have been made easier as a result.

Here are some of our favorite responses:

Melissa Riner: I love my 2008 Taurus! In the kiddie pick-up line at school I feel like I’m in a luxury car in the middle of mini-van hell! Plus, I never worry about snow days because I know my car will get me wherever I need to go!

Susan Rathfelder: My 2009 ford E250 van makes it possible for me to transport my 20 y/o son who has a form of Muscular Dystrophy. Choosing a vehicle to transport him and his 340 pound power chair was a time consuming task, but we are so happy with our van wi…th it’s 6-inch lowered floor and platform lift. Our first family trip was to Denver for a conference and then home via the Grand Canyon. It more than meet the challenge. This van has given our son the freedom he needs.

Stephanie St Laurent: I love my Ford from top to bottom and front to rear! I have a *sharp* 2006 Ford Mustang GT….my kids love it when I drive them to school! I have the coolest Mom mobile in town!

Tracey Parks: As a mom, my first concern is safety. My daughter drives a 2010 mustang. I appreciate your sync system. It allows my daughter to talk safely on her cell phone while not distracting her from the road. Thanks, Ford, for making my daughter’s daily drive a safer one.

Suzanne Phegley: My 03 expedition is my other kid! Just like my 2 boys I have to feed her and she needs a bath about everyday! And once in awhile she needs some new shoes but she always makes me smile when heads turn when she is acting good!! Thanks to everyone at FORD for making such a great SUV.
